How can I share a list of KOLs for approval?

You can have your KOL Casting validated by another member of your team using Kolsquare or by anyone else who does not have access to our tool.

In order for the people you send a casting to make the best validation choices, they will have access to a wealth of data related to KOLs and their social networks.

To share a casting with your team or clients, each KOL must be assigned one of the three key statuses defined by our platform:

  • Approval pending

  • Approved

  • Rejected

Once you have assigned one of these three statuses to the KOLs selected for your campaign casting, you can share it with a member of your team or one of your clients.

What's the difference between the global budget and the invested budget? And how do you use it?

When creating or modifying an existing campaign, you can indicate a global budget for information purposes. This is done in the ROI section of the campaign:

Then, you have the option of adding an Invested budget per KOL in the KOL section of the campaign. You can do this directly from your tracking table, or by selecting several KOLS and clicking on add a media plan to allocate the same investment budget to each of them: When creating or modifying an existing campaign, you can indicate a global budget for information purposes. This is done in the campaign ROI section:

In your reporting > Overview, the budget invested for all the KOLs who have already posted will be displayed and compared with your overall budget indicated when you created your campaign:

If you want to have a visual idea of your ROI, we advise you to indicate a budget invested per KOL. Because the invested budget will also be used to calculate your ROI, as the formula is as follows:

ROI = EMV / invested budget

šŸ’” Tip: Even if you don't pay the KOL in question directly, you can still use the overall budget and invested budget to inform the cost of an invitation or even the gifting value.

How is the CPM calculated?

The CPM (cost per 1,000 impressions) is calculated as follows:

(Budget invested for the KOL / Number of impressions for this KOL) x 1,000

To calculate the CPM, it is therefore necessary to enter the budget invested per KOL.

How to add content to my campaign?

You can manually add content to your reporting — for example, if the KOL didn’t use the correct hashtag or mention as configured in your campaign.

Note: In order to manually add content, it must have already been collected by Kolsquare.

Tracking Links: How does it work and what can I track?

You can create tracking links directly in Kolsquare — and this for each of your campaigns!
To do so, go to Track ROI > Tracking link in your campaign and click on Create a new link.

Thanks to these tracking links, you’ll be able to monitor the following data from the Conversion section of your reporting:

  • Total number of clicks

  • Number of human clicks (excluding bots and redirects)

  • Top 3 cities with the most clicks

  • Top 3 countries with the most clicks

  • Social referrer (which social network generated the most clicks)

If you also want to track e-commerce sales (revenue, number of sales, average basket, conversion rate, etc.), this is aslo possible via Kolsquare’s tracking links.
Additional setup will be required in that case. You’ll find the tutorial here:
