Kolsquare has deployed 2-factor authentication to ensure the security of your data, your account and your use of the platform.
2-factor authentication is mandatory and cannot be deactivated.
How does 2-factor authentication work?
You can use 2 methods for 2-factor authentication: SMS authentication or application authentication.
By SMS :
When you log on for the first time, if you choose 2-factor authentication by SMS, all you have to do is enter a telephone number to which you will systematically receive an SMS to authenticate yourself.
By application :
2-factor authentication by application requires the installation of a dedicated application, such as Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password etc. If you choose application authentication, simply scan the QR code in step 2. This redirects you to the installed application to obtain a code to be entered in step 3 of the authentication process.
You can change the authentication method or even the phone number chosen for SMS authentication at any time.
To do so, go directly to your Kolsquare Settings and click on the update 2-factor authentication button:
Please note: we've set up a trust device which means that once you've logged in for the first time, you won't have to authenticate again for 30 days on the same computer. |
Please note! On Kolsquare, one account equals one access. If your accounts are shared between several people in the same organization, bear in mind that the original account owner must authenticate connections systematically. |
