Want to learn more about KOLs' previous collaborations? Want to know the ratio of organic to sponsored content? Brand Collaboration on influencer profiles lets you gather all this information.
How does it work?
ā Currently, the distinction between organic content and sponsored content is only available on Instagram: Posts and Reels included and Tiktok content. |
Several steps allow us to determine whether content is organic or sponsored:
We must identify the presence of a brand in the content, either tagged directly in the content or in the caption, or identified alongside the words āPaid Partnership.ā
āWe consider content to be sponsored if matching at least one of the following conditions: Instagram's official Paid Partnership label is used (usually found at the top of the content), or the keywords and hashtags of the sponsored content are clear and associated (or not associated) with a brand, or the author or co-author of the content is a brand.
Where can you find this feature?
You can find this feature directly in the Brand Collaborations tab on a KOL's profile.
What metrics can I find?
Overview : which gives you a quick summary of the number of sponsored posts and brand collaborations over a period of your choice (3 months, 6 months, 1 year).
ā
āSponsored Saturation : This allows you to see the distribution between organic content and sponsored content. Saturation is shown as a percentage to indicate the importance of sponsored content across all of the KOL's content.
ā
āContent Distribution : Here you will find the breakdown of sponsored and organic content by content type on InstagramāReel or Postā or Tiktok - in numbers in the first table, then in a visual graph just below: the longer the bar, the higher the percentage. The color legends are shown on the metric: gray for organic content, purple for sponsored content.
ā
āAverage mentions and Compliance Score : Here you will first find the average number of brands mentioned in content (sponsored or otherwise), whether in posts, reels, or stories. Then, with the Compliance Score, you can see at a glance whether the KOL is collaborating in accordance with the rules and laws in the following countries: France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom.
ā
āSponsored Performance : Here you will find the engagement rate by content type, the estimated reach by content type, and the EMV by content type. This allows you to evaluate the performance of sponsored content and compare it with the performance of organic content. Perfect for adapting your strategy and your choice of KOLs!
ā
āBrand Relationship : On this calendar view, you can quickly see when the KOL mentioned a brand. When the box is green, it means that on that day (or week or month), the KOL mentioned the brand. The darker green the box, the more content there is at that time.
You will also find the main KPIs for these mentions: engagement rate, EMV, reach, and number of posts.
ā
ā
ā
When you click on a green box, a panel opens and you can immediately see content mentionning these brands, including sponsored content. In this panel, you can choose the brand for which you want to view content, but you can also filter by content type.
