Twitch has now joined Kolsquare, alongside Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, and Facebook. You can now discover, analyze, and generate reports on Twitch streamers without ever leaving the platform: no more screenshots, third-party tools, or manual data compilation in Excel.
What's new
🔍 Search and discovery
Twitch streamers are now accessible through Kolsquare's dedicated search filters; you can find and evaluate Twitch creators just as you do for other networks.
👤 Profiles
Each Twitch streamer profile includes a complete analysis:
Number of followers
Average and peak number of viewers
Most-played games
Streaming hours and watch hours
Active streaming days
These statistics are grouped on the same KOL profile as the creator's Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, or Facebook data: a single profile for all networks.
Note: a Twitch account is not automatically merged with an existing KOL profile. If a streamer already has a profile on another network, you (or your CSM) will need to manually merge the Twitch account with it.
📇 Media Kit
Media Kits can now include Twitch statistics, making it easier to share a creator's full multi-platform presence with your clients.
📋 My KOLs
Streamers in your "My KOLs" lists now display a Twitch logo, and you can add sortable, saveable Twitch columns to your lists.
📊 Campaigns and reporting
This is where Twitch proves particularly useful for demonstrating ROI:
As with all content on Kolsquare, Twitch streams are automatically integrated into campaign reports as soon as a campaign-related keyword, hashtag, or mention appears in a stream's title. Reports include a dedicated Twitch filter, a "Twitch Streams Overview" section, per-KOL Twitch metrics, and stream summary cards.
Twitch data is aggregated with your other networks' data into a single, unified, ready-to-share campaign report:
Metric | Description |
Average viewers | Average number of concurrent viewers on a stream |
Peak viewers | Maximum number of concurrent viewers reached during a stream |
Games played | Most-played games on the channel |
Stream hours | Total number of hours the creator streamed |
Watch hours | Total number of hours viewers spent watching the stream |
Active days | Number of days the creator streamed live |
Followers | Total number of Twitch followers |
Some KPIs are unavailable:
Audience demographic data (viewer age, gender, location) — this data is not accessible via Twitch's public API and would require a paid third-party service or a partnership with Amazon/Twitch.
Live/real-time metrics — there is no live viewer counter, chat tracking, or real-time sentiment analysis.
Cumulative or unique views (replay + live) — this data is not provided by Twitch's public API. We are actively working with Twitch France to explore access to this information, as well as channel visits, chat interactions, and clips generated per stream.
💡 Note on comparing platforms: "average" and "peak" viewer metrics on Twitch correspond to simultaneous live audience; this is a fundamentally different metric from the cumulative view counts reported by YouTube or TikTok. A direct comparison can make Twitch numbers appear artificially low. When comparing Twitch to other platforms, we recommend focusing on engagement and audience quality rather than raw viewer counts.
How stream collection works
Kolsquare captures a snapshot of live Twitch activity every 15 minutes, retrieving streams from creators who meet a minimum threshold of followers and concurrent viewers.
Kolsquare's underlying database contains approximately 13 months of Twitch history. Twitch content will be searchable directly in the app starting March 1, 2026.
Deleted VODs are retained for approximately one year.
